Not Just Soup – Souptacular!

Soup-er Chef

Over the past few months, we have noticed an increased interest in adding coconut milk to our Tandoori Hotpot.  We love this idea, and want to get your recipes for Tandoori Hotpot with coconut milk.  If you love the Tandoori taste, it’s time to put your chef’s hat on, develop your own Tandoori Coconut Milk Soup recipe, and share it with the Souptacular community!

  • Contest: Soup-er Chef (Tandoori Hotpot with coconut milk)
  • Deadline: August 30, 2011
  • Judges: Website Manager Liz, Strathcona Vender Jenni, Souptacular Owner Maureen

At the deadline, all recipes will be collected and assessed for feasibility in the average kitchen.  We will check things like:

  • Readability
  • Affordability
  • Accessibility (tools and ingredients)
  • General appeal

In the kitchen, the judges will test the recipes that pass the feasibility assessment.  Judges will use criteria such as:

  • appearance
  • aroma
  • texture
  • flavor
  • skill level and access (should be easy and accessible to the average Souptacular fan)
  • nutritional value (consistent with Souptacular’s nutritional values)

Prizes:

All contributors: Graphic badges for your websites, blogs, Facebook and Google+ profiles, and twitter avatars!

Runners Up: Honorable mentions in the Souptacular blog, graphic badges, and all accompanying fame!

To Enter:

  1. Develop your Tandoori Hotpot with Coconut Milk recipe
  2. Submit your recipe, including ingredients list, instructions, and any other comments to help us recreate your Tandoori Hotpot masterpiece. Please email or mail submissions directly to Souptacular.
