Recipe
Cook any Souptacular soup with either water or a low sodium broth. In the last hour of cooking add:
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup low or no salt diced tomatoes or salsa
For protein, add EITHER:
- 1/2 cup diced chicken breast
- 1/2 pound lean fried bison or beef
Meat is optional, and makes your soup a ‘complete protein.’
