Customer Recipes: Cracked Peppercorn with Beef – by Donna Scorfield

Welcome back! Subscribe to enter the soup draw, offered several times per year.

Donna Scorfield from Edmonton Alberta submitted this recipe for the Cracked Peppercorn:

I cooked the Souptacular Cracked Peppercorn soup with a organic, low sodium vegetable broth in the slow cooker for 6 hours on high. Then:

In a frying pan, fry:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • half an onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 clove fresh garlic

Add the mushrooms and onions mixture into the crockpot along with:

  • 1 pound cooked organic ground beef

Let it cook together for another hour and serve.

Thanks Donna! We can’t wait to try this recipe ourselves!
